Ford Equator
Conceived as a personal project by Automotive Fantasy, the Ford Equator emerges in a series of CGI images where technology and artistry converge to achieve an unparalleled level of hyperrealism.
Redefining Automotive CGI with AI Precision
The scene development and main idea were spearheaded by Max Salas, CGI Lead at AF, with post-production led by JP, Head of Visualization at AF.
A Fully Custom-Built CGI Scene
The creative vision was to build a 100% custom environment, crafted from the ground up to present Ford’s best-selling SUV in Mexico with a modern, sophisticated aesthetic. This required a meticulous 3D model preparation, precisely engineered lighting, and a 16-bit depth render to capture every detail with absolute precision.
The project then underwent an advanced post-production phase, where AI-enhanced finishing techniques were applied to seamlessly integrate all elements and elevate realism to extraordinary levels.
”The biggest challenge was building a believable city while optimizing the scene for maximum realism. AI allowed me to refine the environment efficiently, so I could focus on what truly matters—the car. At the end of the day, it’s the true protagonist of the image.
